The core difference is whether an MPPT function is present. The ECO model does not include MPPT and therefore cannot be connected directly to solar modules.

The ECO model is particularly suitable for users with an installed solar system. Thanks to coupling technology (AC coupling), excess solar power can be efficiently stored to optimize energy usage and further increase the self-consumption rate.

How does SolidFlex 2000 ECO work?

SolidFlex 2000 ECO draws power from the normal household grid. Plug the device’s AC plug into a standard outlet or distribution panel. When paired with a smart electricity meter, it detects and stores excess solar power. In the evening, the stored energy is released back into the household grid to increase self-consumption.
