Yes, the device can be used in winter. It features a heating function that automatically activates when the device temperature falls below 0 °C. Important: At low temperatures, lithium battery activity decreases, causing faster discharge and higher power demand. Recommendation: In winter, always reserve a battery charge of at least 30% to 50%. In case of snowfall: Take extra care to maintain about 70% charge so the battery has enough reserve capacity.

Yes. Safety is a top priority in our system. Unlike conventional batteries, the system uses a semi-solid lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery, which combines the advantages of solid and liquid electrolytes and thereby increases thermal stability at the material level.

Yes. The PowerFlex 2000 has an IP65 protection rating, making it dust-tight and protected against water jets from any angle, making it well suited for outdoor use. Note: Despite IP65 protection, you should not operate the device outdoors during heavy rain or in standing water. Recommendation: Install the device in a well-ventilated, stable location with secure mounting and comply with local installation requirements as well as the user manual.

Yes. When the PowerFlex 2000 is connected to the house grid, the Off-Grid outlet can power devices up to a maximum of 3600W. Power components that exceed the continuous self-supplied power of 2400W will be automatically supplemented by the house grid. Note: For the PowerFlex 2000 to reliably provide 2400W, at least two expansion batteries are required.

The most obvious advantage is that it completely prevents the battery pack from being held back by the weakest battery. For example, in traditional scenarios with mixed usage of old and new batteries, the old battery limits the performance of the new battery, preventing the full efficiency of the entire pack. When the device is connected to the grid, the grid-independent port can provide up to 2400W. In grid-free operation or during a power outage, the maximum power is 1000W. With an SFA1800 expansion battery, the power rises to 2000W, and with two battery packs, up to 2400W is possible.

The PowerFlex 2000 complies with German regulations for photovoltaic systems and can be installed by users themselves. It offers 800W of power for your home. Please note: If you want to obtain 2400W grid-connected power, this must be done by a licensed electrician, and an installation plan must be submitted to the local grid operator. In off-grid operation, it can output 2400W, covering most mid- to low-power devices.

This is normal and does not affect your user experience. In practice, a rest-charge deviation of up to about 10% between cells is reasonable thanks to the battery optimizer. This ensures that each cell charges and discharges independently, so their performances do not affect one another. Why traditional batteries tend to show smaller SOC differences: they rely on parallel equal distribution, which creates circulating currents and energy waste and can be affected by bottlenecks.
